Laparoscopic surgery
Laparoscopic or “keyhole” procedures diagnose and treat conditions in the abdomen, pelvis and intestines, including digestive and gynaecological problems, and colorectal cancers. With only small incisions, they are less invasive or likely to cause pain and major scarring than traditional surgery.

In our purpose-built operating theatres, highly experienced surgeons carry out keyhole procedures to help with diagnosis, screen for abnormalities, take biopsies and remove disease. You’ll be given a general anaesthetic but in some cases may be able to return home on the same day as a laparoscopy.
