Care and support

From the shock of a diagnosis to the months of treatment, cancer has an emotional as well as a physical impact on patients and their loved ones. To assist patients through a difficult time, a network of support services is provided to ensure holistic care.

Our professional counsellors as well as team members can provide information on nutrition and other daily activities that might be affected by your diagnosis and treatment. We also have an onsite library and access to on-line information.

Marcelle Ruth Friends

Led by patients, and run by a 12-member executive committee, Marcelle Ruth Friends was established to help bring more hope and optimism to the cancer journey.

The Group is committed to raising awareness of cancer by advocating screening to help save lives, and also by hosting a number of educational programmes at the hospital.

Alongside the world-class treatment available at the hospital, it is hoped that the stigma associated with the disease can be eradicated and survivors, patients and experts can provide support to those in need.

If you or someone you know has been affected by cancer, please know that you are not alone. We are here to support you every step of the way
